Duller than NPR, best in car washes

Scissors dull after two cuts in -10AN steel mesh. Now they're complete junk and I've spent more dollars replacing ruptured hoses than those fire brigade shears cost. Not worth the money.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not sure

Delicious! for exterior maintenance

I bought these to make fuel lines for my hot rod. I usually use a dremel or hacksaw with tape wrapped tightly. I cut several pieces of teflon braided steel tubing and they cut very cleanly and easily. They definitely make the job easier. I'm glad I bought them, they seem to be good quality cutters for the price.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Frequency

Bring a friend! - Car maintenance

Good quality tool, I've used it to convert the entire tank of the truck's fuel system into a carburettor but it doesn't appear dull, which is a good sign after about 20 cuts. They are BIG though, think bolt cutters so you might want to get a vise or bring a friend to hold the hose for you as you will need both hands to operate them. But you still needed an excuse to buy a vise, right? Right?

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I really don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Not worth the price

For the price I expected a better cut on 6an and 8an hose. Used 5 times and the cuts keep getting worse. 60€ is definitely not worth it. Poor design apparently caused by 1 badly sharpened blades. And the 2 nylon lock nuts that hold the scissors together are VERY easy to unscrew (mid cut), the jaws of the scissors open then the hose doesn't cut well. design flaws for sure.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • old

So far, so good.: Car wash

So far, so good. I read several reviews before purchasing. People had their pros and cons, some say it didn't help. I've used it four times with steel braided fuel lines - 10 and - 6 and had no problems. Maybe I should have given it one more star but at the moment I still doubt its longevity. DEFINITELY has a solid physique! So far I have no complaints!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Empty

Works with car washes

Just received these after reading many reviews on multiple websites. I was torn on what to believe as there are conflicting reviews, some say they work some say they don't. I took the risk and so far I'm happy. They cut the 10AN stainless steel braided hose like oil and the cut was clean and didn't fray. This was enough to put on the straight end of 10AN with ease. I made one cut and I need to make about 7 more to assemble the oil cooler; I plan to update the review when I'm done, but so far so

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
