I bought this to install my Note 9 in my Toyota Corolla. I prefer portrait mode and other mounts place it too high above the dash. It's made of metal and appears to be very durable. The vent clip is longer than others I've seen and actually closes at the end. It seems to hold up well and if you tighten the nut on the ball the mount will stay in place even with a heavy phone. I've been using this for a while and it still works great. It was a little fiddly figuring out how to attach it to the vent, but with a little patience and reading the instructions, you'll put it on pretty easily.
