My dog feels great on this food. He weighs 68 pounds and eats 2 cups a day. He is brilliant and full of energy. We lived without grain, but we realized that rice or wheat are not the enemy. I usually feed my prey raw. As I have a litter of Mastiff puppies I have started feeding them in turns in case their new owners don't want to feed them raw. I had them on Nutra Pro from Victor and they handled and ate them with gusto. Since they are in a fast growing stage I wanted to lower the protein and calcium/phosphorus levels a bit. I trust the Victor brand and it's the only brand I give my four American clubs. It's made in America and is just one of two dog foods that have never been recalled.
