ONE does not work

When screwed onto a tire valve stem to inflate a tire, air from my pump will NOT get into the tire. Something is wrong with the small rod in the extension that prevents it from pushing/opening the valve core into the tire. UPDATE 11/12/2017: Tried one of the other extensions in the kit and it worked as it should. It was dark so I didn't try the other two. Apparently one of the four was unusable (so far) - for some reason. I suspect they were/will not be tested after they/were produced.

Looks good!: Stems

I have an older car with hubcaps. In fact, it is so old that the original tires are made to special order. One of the problems with a car of this age is the scrolling of the hubcaps. If they turn, they can cut through the rubber valve stem. The chrome valves do not go through the cap far enough to facilitate tire maintenance. With these extensions, the rods become usable and will not cut the metal rod when the caps are moved. You get grades, but these extensions don't break. Very good product…

Working tire valve expanders

My Honda dealer shop seems unhappy with the fact that my tires are running at 35psi. Every time I bring my car in for service they lower the tire pressure to 32psi. Everything else my dealer makes pretty reliable so I decided to stop whining about the pressure and deal with it. Cap, so I ended up using a $1.00 air pump at my local gas station. such a pain With these extensions I can now connect my bike pump to the tires and it takes about 15 pumps per tire. I do some exercise, feel 10 years…

Do not do that! Read This

After fitting these valves to my very difficult to access (bolt and bolt) Prius tire valves, one of my tires went flat the next morning. Luckily I had a new Revain compressor, so the apartment was done quickly. The next morning another tire was flat. Over the next three mornings, the first tire was flat twice again. At first I couldn't even dream that these were extenders. I've used valve extenders with no problems. Then I got suspicious (yes) However, I also had reason to believe that the…

Have a fat tire day with no disappointments!

Driving a car from a fleet, we were told to keep the pressure in cold tires at 40psi, regardless of the pressure on the label on the driver's door jamb. This provides better fuel economy through a smoother ride without sacrificing tread wear. I did the same to my car and yes, the fuel economy was consistently slightly better than the EPA ratings. Over time, you get used to the handling and begin to appreciate the improved driving experience through the steering wheel. Do this every week and…
