My favorite dog food!

Dog food from the Victor brand has been my favorite for a number of years. I also like that it's made by a 'small' unincorporated company. This helps lower the price and improve the quality. I like to buy 2 different flavors to mix or swap. So they get protein from different sources. Much better for dogs than Beneful, Elroy, Purina, Science Diet. This is quality food at an average price! If it weren't for the Victor brand, my dogs would be getting subpar dog food on my limited income.

Dogs Are Happy - Food

My dogs love this dog food. One of my bitches is very picky about what she eats and the other will eat anything but seems sensitive to many dog foods. For picky munchkin people like me, it's all one type of food (he picks his favorite and doesn't eat the others scattered around the house) and small pieces that my Chihuahua can easily eat. My other now has hard bowel movements and is not throwing up like the others. I used nature's recipe and as soon as I post this new one, they won't touch it…

Diarrhea and vomiting.

I fed my 2 German shepherd dogs Acana and Orijen for a long time. After hearing about the heart risks of a grain-free diet, I started looking for an alternative. I found Victor and he was on Revane Prime too, a huge plus. It's also cheaper than previous foods I've fed and seemed to live up to the praise. I first started feeding the High Pros and liked them. I wanted to switch it to Multo-Pro so they don't have stagnant nutrition. So far I have always switched profiles within the same brand with

  • Definitely bad product

Dogs almost had a real fight because they ate it for the first time! think they liked it! I decided to give them more and they wagged their tails so happily! Hoping this will help alleviate a lot of scratching, chewing and heavy discharge for some and those who have recurring ear infections. The vet says it could be an allergy to the source of the protein. Cross your fingers and pray, that's at least a 25-50% answer to my prayers! Unemployed and widowed loser foster mom who thinks no one will…

Finally dry dog food without peas, beans and potatoes

I recently read an AKC report about the possibility of heart enlargement in some dog breeds (a golden retriever in my case) due to the presence of peas. beans and potatoes in their diet. I have never heard of this and would caution readers of this review to do their own research on the subject as it applies to other breeds. What I love about Victor Multi-Pro dog food is that it's free of these ingredients. It seems very difficult to find kibble or treats that don't contain these key…

Highly recommended in the grocery department

I paid $38 for the same bag at my local pet store in Houston, TX and now with Prime I'm paying less than $30 including shipping. Can't beat it Our Mastiff Cane Corso named Bentley loves it and by the age of one year he is eating a bag a week. His coat is shiny, he is very active, he never has stomach or gas problems and he has normal bowels. I recommend this brand to anyone who asks. My only issue is how tiny the pebbles are compared to my large breed with their large jaws, although I'm pretty…

So far, so good! good food

My dog has been eating this food for about two weeks now and he seems to like it. She had had an ear infection for about 6 months and we couldn't find out the cause until someone at the local pet shop mentioned it might be potatoes which are so common in many dog foods these days. He explained that since the potato is a starch that is converted to sugar in the body, excess starch feeds the yeast normally found in the ear and leads to overpopulation, leading to "infection". A few weeks after we…
