I really wanted a standalone player. Found it in exactly the color I was looking for. Packed was excellent. Luckily, as per other reviews, the player was actually cheap plastic and not attached. I could literally pick it up and see everything in it. Of course, that affected the sound. I used Gorilla double sided tape and it held it in place. Sounds much better, but not outstanding. Doesn't match the price tag.

I purchased this product and was very happy with it. However when I received it the power cord was missing and I had to take a $25 credit to buy another one from Amazon as they didn't have another for the phonograph. As soon as I got it and was about to play the record it just skipped as I can now see the turntable part is slightly raised and I need tape to stick it in place to keep it from skipping. I tossed between this player and a similar Crosley model - both had about the same ratings - but in the end I settled on this one. The player is lightweight and inexpensive, so I didn't know what to expect when I launched it. I was positively surprised. I read the reviews on this so I braced myself for quality. However, I tried Bluetooth and it worked. I tried the radio and it worked. I waited a few days to try out the turntable because I had to dig up my old vinyl records. Well, the turntable didn't turn.
