Cheap but it will set the record when it's all put together

I read the reviews on this so I braced myself for quality. However, I tried Bluetooth and it worked. I tried the radio and it worked. I waited a few days to try out the turntable because I had to dig up my old vinyl records. Well, the turntable didn't turn. I've made up my mind so I'll send it back or see if we can fix it even though I paid $87 and some change for this item. I don't really like giving things back. My husband said I'll check it out. So we disassembled it and removed the tape from the turntable. We had to remove the top and back to access the strap. After we put in the belt, assembled, put on the plate and everything worked. The turntable was not screwed tight. I really don't know why. The speakers sound decent. But all that said, this little cheap Victrola works for me. I can't say this is the highest quality because it isn't. When you take it apart to put on the belt, you can see that there isn't much. But if you can get one with a strap and everything works, then it has decent sound and is pretty cute, at least to me. I don't know how long that will take. But at least if it breaks, it won't be hard to fix. Even if you don't need to fix what you just bought. So I say buy at your own risk of repair.
