These collars are easy to spot when walking in the dark and are quite durable. Our two German Shepherds like to pull on each other's collars when they play and the collars hold up quite well. I didn't even know they had a pen too, which is great when the postman needs a signature and I need to keep them away from the door lest they startle him with their aggressive sniffing.

So my first rating of my first collar was 5 stars and quite impressive compared to every other option I could find. The quality is at the highest level, they lasted 9 months, only now they need to be replaced with a larger size. The new collar I received seems to be made of the same materials as before, except the buckle is made up of multiple pieces with additional rivets. Round is smaller and sloppier. A little disappointed that such a perfect design has been horribly altered.

I ordered it as a gift for my sister at the turn of the year because she simply needed things for her dog and stripes. It feels super durable and fits well. My only complaint is that it was folded in the packaging so it's quite stiff and oddly curved. Because of this, it sits on her neck in an unconventional way. My god what a beautifully made collar. I was surprised by its quality, durability and size. Usually my German Shepherds fit XL collars and they were huge. [140 pounds. and 80 lbs.] They fit great, but the collar was meant to be the smallest adjustment for my little fella, so it's too big. Really liked the style and the extra grip on it. However, after a few months (March) of use the mental clip seemed to be stuck and we had to use WD40 to loosen it to remove the collar. Bought these for two of my dogs so I can add 'iron free' patches if people have them. The quality is absolutely superb and I can definitely see that they will last. I ended up returning them after realizing that once the collar is unbuttoned, there is also a velcro strap that needs to be unbuttoned before wearing. The dog's ear was far from perfect. Excellent collar! It's durable and can handle my 95-pound bundle of muscles pulling on it when we have to use the handle to keep it from jumping. He also likes to chew his collars when we try to put them back on after a swim, which is hard to tell (which is surprising given that he chews aggressively).
