The loop is too small for the hammer.

Overall this is a good tool belt for the price but the loop is too small for a hammer. For my purposes, this is a pretty useless loop. I'm not sure I'll try to fix this by finding additional footage to extend the cycle or bring it back. The length of the flat loop is about 1"1/4". I need a 1 inch long loop. 03/18/2021 Decided to keep this tool belt. You can buy a separate hammer hanger for about $5.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some flaws

Seriously, the best waist pack for tools and stuff

I set up makeshift workshops and outfit each of my mechanics with one of these. We use the loop to hang the rags. That's really what you need - right size, right number of pockets, right configuration, strong stitching, good materials. I ordered another one in black that looked the same, but without the all-important inner pocket: beware. These shades of gray are the best.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • damaged

Does the job I bought it for

I use it in class to keep my iPad mini, iPhone, pens, pencils, notes, masks, first aid kit and sanitizer in class to keep lessons. It's thin, so it feels a little bulky with items. But the material is as strong as denim so it holds up well. The strap is very thick with a plastic clip. Not because the plastic clip lasts forever, but because of the price I can replace. Or even remove the clip and attach it to one of my belts.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great product!: Tool straps

Love it. I work at an animal shelter and I juggle all the time, carry a lot of items (safety gear, horn, walkie-talkie, poo bags, etc.) and women's work pants just don't have enough pockets. Saw this and ordered immediately and am so glad I did. You can put so much in it and so far it's really been very durable. The only design change I would make is adding a snap button on the largest pocket that allows you to separate the bag so it doesn't open as wide and sits a little on the hips instead of

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Bad thought
