Pros/Cons: No plastic. There are no instructions. Second hand?

Pros: All outputs are 1/2. In theory, you can get 15 gallons per minute at any outlet. Most plumbers work with 1/2. Made of poly. Cons: The connectors are not brass. Contains a 5-page so-called manual. The Viega manual is a double-edged sword as it is intended for Viega products. Good to read. This manual is 90 pages long but seems to contain a lot of information about their products, no "standard". Easy to install and oddly enough the 24 ports fit right in our house. Spit hot and cold…

Looks good, works good

I bought this to replace my copper collectors which were badly corroded from acidic well water. Of course, this thing shouldn't rust. Some people have remarked that it is difficult to install the ends and then remove the tubing if necessary when routing the tubing as directed when the tubing goes 2 x 4 on each side. There is a simple solution for this. Using the template, drill two 2 x 4 holes as directed, but use a drill bit one size larger. Then cut the 2 x 4 in half through the holes. Attach

This product was one of the best decisions I made when renovating my home

This product was one of the best decisions I made when renovating my home. No more flushing the toilet and losing pressure or scalding hot showers. No more joints as weak points in the subsurface. The only valves are the diverter valve and then straight to the shower/tub/sink/toilet/or elsewhere. Since PEX offers much better expansion capability at low temperatures and there are no joints under the house, leaks are extremely unlikely. That's great, because here in the mountains the temperatures

Excellent customer service and quality product

Okay, that's a two for one deal. on TV. However, I am handy around the house and have common sense. Other than that, it had to be one of the easiest projects I've ever done. I replaced all the galvanized water pipes in my house with Pex and this manifold in a long day. This included a new water heater and filtration system. I have enough space for an extension, which I will also do this summer. As with any project, I strongly recommend that you do your homework and study all applicable building

From Frankenstein monster to beauty queen!

Based on some reviews I wasn't 100% sure about this system but I ended up hitting the JACKPOT! I was looking for a new distribution system as I was at the maximum number of outlets on my old copper distribution boards (I had 3 of them running). We are about to start a bathroom extension and there weren't enough connections. Well, after months of arguing between products and brand names, I settled on this bad boy. Ho-ho-holy balls, this distribution system is amazing! The only thing missing from

Water panel and easy to install

I installed this unit about 5 years ago and I like the ability to turn on separate taps or feeds to each individual unit. The code here still requires a disconnect at the end of each line near the fixture, but I don't think that's the primary purpose of this splitter. I was building an addition to my house and it allowed me to sketch out the plumbing for the new fixtures and then turn them on as each section was complete. There are a few things to consider and plan accordingly. The distributor…

Works great! The template and clear instructions were in the box. I haven't played around with the branded lashing straps from Viega. I just made a 2x4 bracket that attaches to my basement joists. With labels and everything you need for each lamp. This rating and model is for crimping adapters for any fixture. My only gripe with this is that if you follow the included 3/4" hole drilling template for each hot and cold lead, you have to run the solder through the manifold and THEN crimp the…
