Great looking product, but using a USB Type-A to USB Type-B cable to use the touchscreen makes no sense (when many others at the same price from HP or Planar don't have and/or HID compatibility without HDMI setup need ).

This monitor is amazing and easy to set up. The screen is very tough - installed in the garage. I accidentally banged the screen 450 degrees with a soldering iron tip for a second and to my relief there was no mark left on this thing. Thoroughly impressed! The touch is very responsive - and works well even in the severe winter cold.

There is no user manual for this monitor, just a cartoon quick start guide. It took me a while to find the HDMI port as it faces down on one side and not on the side like the other ports. I really like this monitor. I bought two touch screen monitors for use in a vehicle project to monitor my Holley EFI system. This one was too big so I used it in the living room on the coffee table. Picture quality is very good, USB hub is good. The footrest is also a nice addition. The only downside I've found so far is that the sound quality from the speakers is very low/soft and they're not very loud. So if you want decent sound, you need external speakers.

The touch screen has problems with Raspberry Pi with Raspbian OS, probably the problem is not with the monitor itself, but rather with a problem with the driver in this Linux distro.

I would avoid this model. There was no alternative at the time of ordering, but I think now you can find a better touchscreen at this size. The background isn't very black, the GUI controls are a nightmare (with numbered buttons instead of a touchscreen) and it crashes. One of the highlights didn't work for a while and then just recently I'm getting an "echo" so I press on a spot and I get extra touches repeating on the screen. Poor value for money in my opinion.

The monitor is working great after 2 calls to ViewSonic support. Customer service was very good. I had to buy a Mini DisplayPort to DVI cable to use with the Surface Pro 3. The monitor and touch functions only work when connected directly to the computer. It doesn't work and will not work with the Surface Pro 4 Dock.

The resolution is very weak, not clear at all. The touch screen just doesn't work. General. Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers over 10 times, tried different configurations and this expensive paperweight just sat there with a low resolution display. Big enough for film but small enough for touch controls. The smart stand is adjustable and sturdy, yet simple and compact. After living with one for 6 months, I bought another for a computer elsewhere.

As the title says, the picture is perfect. Using Display Port Connection is much better than my old 1600x900 monitor. However, the speakers are on the back of the monitor and sound muffled, like something is blocking them.

Every time I use the mouse I have to touch the screen multiple times before it recognizes the cursor and moves it around the screen based on my touch. I bought this monitor to replace an Acer touchscreen that didn't have this issue, so I know it's not my computer. I do not recommend this product.
