I bought a Viewsonic VX-2000 to match my existing monitor so I can set up two screens. The monitor was in good condition but there was no cover on the back of the monitor. When I emailed the seller (twice) afterwards, I got no response, so I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5. Overall happy with the purchase.

So I got this monitor home and hooked it up to my GeForce4 with DVI input and set the "recommended" display setting to 1600X1200. I was just blown away by the graphics quality of this monitor. This monitor is amazing, you will be satisfied with the clear picture and 170 degree viewing range. I can look at this monitor from anywhere in the room without losing my view from any direction. This monitor is very spacious and looks beautiful. I enjoy using it, but I have a few objections, including the following: It has a 20ms response time, hence ghosting when playing fast-paced games. It looks very clunky, isn't great for multitasking, and you can fit almost two pages side by side, which would be much more useful when I'm doing my homework and projects. The Vx2000 is sharper and brighter than my 21 inch Viewsonic CRT at work. my linux desktop 1600x1200 is clearly visible even in bright daylight. My laptop's LCD pales in comparison, as do most CRTs. This monitor weighs less than any other 20-inch LCD, but is well balanced and doesn't move easily.
