It's obviously too big, but I think even if my daughter were taller, the armholes would still be too big and the neckline would still be weird. My 5 year old loves dresses. She would eat, breathe, and sleep in her clothes if I let her. She recently celebrated her 5th birthday in kindergarten and then threw a birthday party at home just for the very young girls. I bought her 2 of these dresses for every "party" and she loved them. They were so cute, comfy and a perfect fit. Sizing was true to size for her, with a nice, comfy stretch at the top. Is this the highest quality dress ever made? No of course not. I'm not giving this item a 5 star rating - YET - but I'm pretty sure I'll come back and "update" my review a few months after my granddaughter's birthday! The dress arrived on time and was well packaged. It really is so pretty, and from what I can see when I hang it up to "loosen the layers of the skirt," it's very well made and the material is soft to the touch.
