Great value for money, good build quality, high performance with some caveats! The app works really well when it works, but a couple of times it didn't work for me. Nominal kelvins don't match true kelvins in many situations, but I haven't done any scientific testing. It works fine for me. I wish there was an extra hole to attach an umbrella.

This flashlight is surprisingly good, especially for the money. uses locking XLR connectors and the color range is wider than most other dual color lamps. Color accuracy isn't as good as pricier lamps, but still quite acceptable and perhaps to be expected given the price for the feature set. Here's my quick rundown of this light as a working cinematographer. I first had the Ninja 200 and it's a cool little light, but I found I needed more power. Enter the Ninja 400.
