    Really nice BUT!

    They are beautiful, beautifully designed but very hard and uncomfortable to use. I don't know if they need to be lubricated with oil or grease or if the screw holding them together is loose but difficult to turn. I actually ordered another pair as well to give as gifts, they look like a bird but they work so smoothly and are also very beautiful, I keep them to myself and if I can ever get them to work I will pass on as a gift.

    Pretty but very sharp

    I don't buy scissors very often. When I do that, I expect them to do what scissors do: cut efficiently. I bought these particular scissors both because I needed them for my sewing and craft projects and because I thought they looked really cute and pretty. When they arrived they were half out of the package due to several holes. So be careful. While the handles are cast veneer, the blades are very real and very sharp. They were well tightened.

    Exquisitely feminine and beautiful; 100% sharp and functional. It's not a showpiece, although it's beautiful enough to be considered one. These rose engraved scissors are meant to be used. I have fairly large fingers and the finger holes are perfectly comfortable. Cutting is effortless, whether you're cutting fabric, thread, or price tags with scissors, or using scissors closed to a sharp point to easily cut through a box of tape. These scissors are beautiful to look at and easy to use…
