I bought these to cover my regular tablecloth as I have young children and am tired of washing them every day. It was the only vinyl I could find that didn't look "picnic". I'm happy with it as it serves the purpose I bought it for. It washes and looks good. You can certainly tell it's vinyl by its sheen, but it's textured and beautiful. This is my second tablecloth of this type, so I like it very much. The first lasted for 5.5 years of daily use. I keep a pad and tablecloth on the table to protect the inlaid wood top from everyday wear and tear in high traffic areas.
