Poor instep support

I am very disappointed in these sneakers. I had high expectations given the other Vionic Orthoheel shoes I've worn. They have little arch support. They slip well on muddy shoes but you can get them for 1/4 the price. If you have high arches or need good support because of a dropped arch or foot, don't waste your money on this.

Pros
  • Mesh
Cons
  • There are flaws

Wow! Exactly what I was looking for!

I'm at home, mother of four. So I need great slippers/shoes. I have a very narrow foot with a high arch. I've had severe plantar fasciitis outbreaks - to the point where it was unbearable! Stretching, good insoles and a night splint helped me. But I have such a hard time finding shoes for my narrow foot with a high instep that don't slip off my foot! These shoes are light and comfortable and fit like a dream! true size. I'm considering ordering a few more! I use the current pair as slippers - I

Most uncomfortable shoes ever

I suffered from terrible plantar fasciitis for several months and tried everything including wearing orthopedic shoes for 6 weeks. Nothing helped so I tried these shoes. These are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. Super hard and the bow didn't hit the right spot. I lasted about 35 minutes before I couldn't take the pain anymore. I'll tell you what really helps - SM Sox compression sleeves and Walgreens gel heel cups. These two things make almost any shoe bearable and together theyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable rubber sole
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Such a cute but horrible fit

Vionic shoes have literally saved my life as have many people who suffer from low arches. But โ€“ and this is a big BUT: Vionic really needs to learn how to make closed-toe shoes. Except for one lace-up sneaker, all the closed shoes I tried didn't fit and had to be returned. I need a wide toe but have a normal heel width; Curiously, all eVionic Wide Closed shoes are designed the same: wide all over, including the heel. As a result, I have to constantly return wide Vionics because they slip soโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Textile and synthetic upper
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good grip on tops and t-shirts

Vionic shoes were recommended by my doctor as a support shoe for my plantar fasciitis. Since most Vionics are very expensive, I decided to try these cheaper shoes for my first pair. I still "bring" them - I wear them 2-3 hours every day. I'd like a little more "toe room" - they're a bit shorter, but if I went back to a size 7, it sure would be too big. They look like more expensive shoes with trousers and jeans. They also look good with shorts and capris. My physical therapist was impressedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Removable EVA mesh insole
Cons
  • Very expensive

I love these shoes! for tops and t-shirts

If you've ever bought Vionic shoes you know you'll either love them or hate them. Although many of us love this brand, for some reason the manufacturer simply refuses to live up to its product as a whole. I will say that I love the support of the sandals over the shoes. However, these shoes suit me in every way. I have a wide foot so I ordered a size 9 from C/D and they fit perfectly. I typically have issues with Vionic shoes around (1) the toe box and (2) the top of the foot. The sock is small

Pros
  • APMA quality mark
Cons
  • Only available in black
