If you've ever bought Vionic shoes you know you'll either love them or hate them. Although many of us love this brand, for some reason the manufacturer simply refuses to live up to its product as a whole. I will say that I love the support of the sandals over the shoes. However, these shoes suit me in every way. I have a wide foot so I ordered a size 9 from C/D and they fit perfectly. I typically have issues with Vionic shoes around (1) the toe box and (2) the top of the foot. The sock is small but I can move my toes easily and freely so I'm happy. The top of the foot isn't "squashed" by the flatness in the upper part of the shoe, so again I'm very happy and satisfied. Now, for what reason am I most likely to buy these shoes again? Hoe. For those of us who trudge through life with our heels hitting the ground, this is a dream come true. I put them on yesterday and walked many miles in them right out of the box. They are so elastic that they give you goosebumps. Such a delight to finally find athletic shoes to walk around in. And while the arch support isn't as good as the iconic Vionic sandals, it's actually pretty good. Other reviewers have noted that they bought a black pair of these shoes, and don't be afraid of solid black here: My shoes came in solid black. All in all a great find. And I will order more when they wear out.
