I got these to use outside along the trim of my house. Tested the lights first and everything looked great. I was concerned how thin they are. more like string lights. Not rope lights. but I had them installed anyways and as soon as I turned them on an entire section went out! After turning them off and on an switching colors a few times I got all the lights lit but that section which is about 4ft is always a different color. Example all the lights will be blue and than I'll have a 4ft section…

I like the product for its brightness and colors. Two problems with it - the tube is very stiff and not flexible. It was wrapped so tightly in a small diameter coil that it was difficult to unwrap and place. One problem is the range of the remote - about 6 feet through our glass window and its inconsistent and frequently has to have the button pushed multiple times before it kicks on or off.Perhaps the worst part is there are no instructions describing the buttons and their functions.

For their size, they look great. I got the impression that you could customize up to three colors at once but that is not the case. You can only choose single colors, a red white and blue, and an all colors at once setting. There are also dynamic settings which rotate through all colors. I wish I could set several colors at once or customize which appear in the dynamic setting. Feels like a missed opportunity. I bought these for Halloween 2021 so other that plugging them in to make sure they work, they do, and can be made to stay all orange, they can I can’t speak to their longevity yet but I think they’ll be fine. My only complaint is that they were crammed into a small box and were so tangled it took almost an hour to get them untangled and on a reel. UPDATE: After writing my first review the seller contacted me right away and replaced the lights without question and for free. I just received the lights over the weekend so time will tell if they last longer but the customer service has been VERY GOOD. Originally ordered to replace a tube light of a single color, having color options was a nice feature, even if I leave them permanently set only on one color. The cord is THIN, but is holding up okay to snow and rain so far. The light is surprisingly bright for having no light tube to amplify and disperse--it just comes from the little embedded LEDs. I used the LEDs for my pool. Really incredible light shows at night. The LEDs reflect in the water making one row look like two. However, after 3 months a section of lights failed. But the customer service was great, and they issued me a refund.

The lights are small and I was skeptical when I got them and realized they were so tiny. However, they are really bright and light up my porch like I was hoping. The downfall is 2 things. It has a remote which is cool. Thought I could turn it on from the inside of my house which is 10 feet from where the switch is on the lights, but that isn't the case. I have to be about 5 feet or less away from the switch to turn it on. Number 2 is it has many different colors you can change the lights too…

Nice item, you just have to keep it well stringed out as it tangles very easily. I almost got frustrated and threw it away. I wanted to put it in one place but kept getting tangled up. So, ended up putting it on the fence.

Man, this is a long strand! My only complaint is the remote deal cheap and must be pointed directly at the receiver to work.

This product is very great! It has good lighting, especially when you can dim or brighten the lights! The only thing is the remote must be close to the light sensor for it to change or anything. My TV remote also interferes with that same light sensor a bit

Wanted some lighting we could leave up to use for Halloween and then Christmas. These fit the bill perfectly. I only wish they could be connected to each other but otherwise no issues.

For the most part, they serve their purpose. I bought these as outdoor holiday lights and they aren't bad. However, some lights have not turned on, some are a completely different color, some are dimmer Tham others and some remain 1 color them entire time, while other blink constantly. But overall, they light up, withstand the rain and last throughout the night.

We bought this strand for our 6' Christmas tree and it provides more than adequate coverage. The versatility allowed us to morph the tree to celebrate Mardi Gras as well as St. Patrick's Day, which we did during the pandemic years when parades and typical celebrations weren't held. The strand also gets taken to my daughter's summer camp to decorate the cabin and has seen some use in her room as random decor. The remote is kind of crap but we just use the switch on the cord.
