Remote alarm system faults

It's not worth spending the extra money for a color remote as the screen dims until you press a button or use a toggle switch. it lights up briefly and then goes out again or goes out again. Also, the buttons are very sensitive/positioned too far out and can be disarmed/armed/remote started at any time in a pocket. this can be very disappointing.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some bugs

Professional installation only

I love this alarm clock. I have a 2012 Scion xB and it was installed by my buddy at Best Buy (used to work there lol). It's great to have friends lol the only problem I have is the color screen remote. The buttons would be insanely easy to press. To fix this, I locked the remote so you just had to press a small combination of keys to unlock it. simple solution! I've had this alarm clock for 3 years now with no problems.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ok, but...

Great Alarm: Interior

I originally bought this product because of the color display and remote start. I learned that you can arm, disarm, or remote start a car up to a mile away. It shows the inside temperature and according to the manual it can be synchronized with two cars. It has the best motion detection and when someone approaches it gives an alarm. And you don't need batteries to charge it, plug it into a USB port and you're done once it's fully charged. Excellent purchase!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Only available in black

What else do you need?!

Please install it professionally. If you're willing to invest in a security system, you must also be willing to invest in its installation. It's worth having peace of mind, although there isn't much (action) in my community, so to speak, when it comes to stealing. But nobody needs to know. I paired this with a Directed backup battery and also with a vsm550 pro. I sleep a lot better at night knowing my investment is safe. Update: Do yourself a favor and get this with your Viper system. Protect…

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Disappointed in the Viper

She does what she is supposed to do but I am disappointed in the Viper. I have Python installed in my truck and the main differences (and they are quite significant) are that the buttons on the Viper are flush mounted which makes it very easy to accidentally open or unlock the car while the keys are in the Bag are , worse, start the car. . If you park in a garage, install some CO2 detectors in your house. Another extremely annoying thing is that there is no low battery alert to let you know…

Pros
  • She is amazing
Cons
  • Weight

Works great but the remote control is big.

The remote is big and chunky and the buttons are definitely sensitive, so you MUST use the button lock if you wear something snug or bent over a lot. For those who don't use this feature, there's no reason to complain about button sensitivity just because you're not using the only feature that won't let your car start. In order for the vehicle to go anywhere, a would-be thief must have your key in the ignition. The remote starter works great. I've tested it from a half mile and it works great…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I don't have much to complain about, everything is fine

Featured! in interior

I used to have a Viper 350HV bi-directional system but I bought a new car and decided to go for it. The power reserve of the 5906 is much better. You probably won't drive 1 mile, but maybe 1/2 to 1/3 mile is doable. The battery is not a replaceable AAA battery like the 350HV two-way remote control. This remote control uses a lithium battery that is charged via USB. Battery life is about three weeks on a single charge, and the remote takes about an hour to charge. I was concerned that my key fob
