This License Plate Light Day Lamp Housing Replacement Assembly for Nissan Frontier, Working OK; but the landing was not very good! I put them on the truck but the assembly didn't fit exactly; I had to buy sealant and coat the knot to keep water from getting on the headlights!

The case is slightly larger than the hole it is designed to fit. Tongue snapped trying to use too much force. The base is much longer than the OEM part so when fully installed the bulb assembly will not allow the bulb to protrude far enough for use.

Cheap plastic, the first one broke trying to install. The second had to be adjusted to fit. They should fit my 2012 Nissan Frontier. However, the landing was not very good. The thickness of the steel on my stock bumper is thicker than what this product is designed for.

The color was not described and some Xterra have a more greyish bumper color, this one is black. The landing didn't fit a bit, it was very difficult to fix, in fact I couldn't, I was afraid of breaking it. And finally I wrote to the seller to make a return and I never received a reply.

I have read that modifications to the lamp housing assembly are required. However, this isn't necessary when the case is installed opposite what I thought was right. It seemed to me that the curved end would be the first. Not this case. Place the foam pad on the lamp socket first, then insert the lamp assembly into the lamp socket. Then insert the clip closest to the bumper FIRST. Then (which may require some force) slide the curved end parallel and into the bumper. It should snap into place…
