I have read that modifications to the lamp housing assembly are required. However, this isn't necessary when the case is installed opposite what I thought was right. It seemed to me that the curved end would be the first. Not this case. Place the foam pad on the lamp socket first, then insert the lamp assembly into the lamp socket. Then insert the clip closest to the bumper FIRST. Then (which may require some force) slide the curved end parallel and into the bumper. It should snap into place and be firmly attached to the bumper. Hope that helps!
