This is a very nice improvement over the original 2018 version. I couldn't get the first one to stay alive. This one is much easier to play and the screen sharpness is MUCH better than the first one. I had to tilt the first one to see the screen. It has no problem in this department. The pixels are nice and dark. I bought this one out of nostalgia and I'm generally very satisfied. It's similar to the classic Giga Pets in many ways, although there are a few differences. First, the sound and animation are improved, which is nice. Instead of audio cues, you have small audio samples and the animation is smoother.
