I received the camera, connected it and tried the command "raspistill -o image.jpg" and I got this error: Camera control callback cmd=0x4f525245mmal: No data received from sensor. Check all connections including the solar connection on the camera board. I was confused because the IR function lights up and the Pi detects the camera. After searching the internet, reinstalling the cable, and troubleshooting, I requested a replacement module, hoping that the replacement module would actually work…

You will receive a small kit to assemble the parts. They will give you 4 tiny nuts and bolts for which it is better to have tweezers and a magnifying glass to turn this thing. Good luck if you have fatter fingers, but they also don't send an extra bolt and nut in case they send you a broken one. You also need to tighten all the screws or it won't work. I don't know where else to get these nuts and bolts. If I had known it was so funny I wouldn't have bought it.

I'm building a security system with multiple systems Raspberry Pi Zero W. I chose this camera for a device that looks at my front door. I have the block running but haven't adjusted it to its final position yet, but the block works fine when tested. The picture is clear and the video is more than adequate for the purpose. It was also an interesting learning experience.
