Ice Cream Cone Maker Chaos

This ice cream cone maker was a huge mess. It looks easy on the video, but we had water everywhere. The machine itself is made of very high quality steel. Nicely done. However, when you add a block of ice, it moves slowly and the ice starts to melt all over your counter. This might work amazingly well for a bar, but not for my home. I think it would help if the company added an elegant drip tray. Then the price-performance ratio could be right.

Not sure if it's worth the asking price but definitely something to talk about.

I'll say the thing is definitely strong and heavy - well built. The processing is smooth, without burrs and roughness. However, one should really ask oneself whether one needs such an article. This is a great conversation starter and works as advertised. But I think I was expecting a lot more excitement given the asking price for this piece. It works great and it doesn't take too long to turn a block of ice into a sphere. I have a large silicone dice tray and the dice are slightly larger thanโ€ฆ

Takes too long - ice cream doesn't get crystal clear

My wife bought this for me for Christmas and we tried to make some ice cream scoops out of it. First let me say that the box is very nice. The press is quite heavy and looks well made. It was the best. There is no direction to start. After watching a few videos online we made some ice cubes in individual cups and started making balls. The first one went very slowly, so I decided to help it with warm water. We finished our first "ball" in about 20 minutes. However, it was egg-shaped. Since I was

Not the most economical way to make round ice cubes. But one of the coolest.

Perhaps there is no less efficient and time consuming way to make ice cubes. Maybe if you've tried ice filament 3D printing. It could be worse. Then why did I give 5 stars? Because it's not about efficiency (cost or anything else). And it's not about saving time. It's about making round ice cream in the coolest way. Forget the pun. We're talking about a huge piece of aluminum that turns blocks of ice into balls of ice. If you need to justify the cost then you are in the wrong place so don'tโ€ฆ
