🔪 64 Ounce Vitamix Clear Container with Blade Review

My Vitamix Super 5000 has seen better days. After years of faithful service, the wet container would seize and struggle and become horribly discolored and cloudy with daily use. I had no idea I could buy parts for this very old model but was glad I could. My old lid fitted perfectly and the jar was exactly the same as the original jar that came with the blender. If I can I will purchase a dry container and hopefully add many more years to the life of my Super 5000 workhorse.

Works with my Vitamix 6300. Two stars deducted for two reasons. 1. $100 for a plastic bin is ridiculous, but since the whole unit was $450 I couldn't throw it away just because the plastic bin fell and cracked. I know there's an option for a bladeless container and a $50 lid (which is still ridiculous), but I went with a bladed container, concerned that they might get damaged if they fall down. 2. I have had my Vitamix for 15 years now and after almost daily use the bearings in the jar are wearing out and a brown oily liquid is starting to leak.
