I collect and use vintage camping stoves that use Coleman fuel. Gas cap gaskets can be expensive and sometimes hard to come by. This viton sheet was PERFECT for my own making. At 144 square inches per sheet, I can cut a ton of this and still have plenty of material left over.

I use it where I need a seal in contact with fuel containing alcohol. Works perfectly. Cut out your lining. Please note that its thickness is 1/16 inch, so make sure it won't affect your portability after use. Viton is the gasket of choice, withstanding higher temperatures, solvents and chemicals than most other gasket materials. I have had to store small amounts of toluene and other solvents in small bottles but have had difficulty finding suitable bottles outside of very expensive lab equipment. My solution was to buy some inexpensive glass bottles with caps and replace the plastic spacers with discs cut from Viton sheet.
