The product ordered was advertised as having a 3/4" diameter but after installing it on our door which requires a 3/4" rope it gave up almost 1/8" gaps throughout the route. um. This rope is significantly smaller in diameter than advertised making it unusable and a waste of money. I ended up buying a new set of a more expensive brand (also 3/4" rope) which worked great.

Remove the cotter pins from the door and place them on the glass. With a flat head screwdriver I removed 90% of the old glue. I had a lot of 5/8 rope but decided to buy the correct size according to the manufacturer. Unfortunately, there were large gaps between the door and the oven. I ended up attaching one of the 5/8 pulleys I had on the edge of the door and it's fine now, but I didn't have to. I cleaned all the old gaskets and sealant very carefully (I even sanded and cleaned them to make sure I had good adhesion) and after 3 weeks an edge is already lifting.
