Great tire! on tires and tubes

Was looking for new mountain bike tires, a kind of general purpose tire. That's it. Smooth, fast rolling and good behavior on every surface I've been on.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some problems

Ideal for the street and makes pedaling easier.

The tire is great, very fast and doesn't wear out like my old tyre. Totally different handling, love the tire and will buy more.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not sure

Good on Tarmac and Mud

I bought this tire for on and off road use and it performs well in the loose dirt of the southwestern desert and on tarmac. I used a more aggressive tire and liked the narrow tread pattern in the center of this tire for street riding.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Good fast tire. Ideal for local roads and easy trails.

Trail and roadside riding. I really like the traction and the low noise level. On wet trails you have to make a more conscious effort not to overrev or lose traction, but they brake and hold well enough to keep you going confidently. On offer is a good choice compared to other clincher tires.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not bad

Perfect for Redux 2.

Very good tires for the price. They are slightly thinner than WTBs of the same size. WTB rubbed my frame a bit but they are perfect. They also have lettering on both sides which looks nice and stays the same on either side of the bike. I put them on my Raleigh Redux 2 Staple Edition and they are perfect. This is the widest tire you can comfortably fit on.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Fits

So far good for tires and tubes

I installed Vittoria Mezcal Rigid tires on my Ridley X-650b gravel bike. After driving 100 miles I can say that the Vittoria tires perform well on the desert roads and trails that I ride. I love that the tires had enough traction and width for me to control gliding on loose sand. Tires cushion hand bumps from washboard roads. According to my parking scale, the tire weighs 28 ounces. Tires mount easily, no hassle, hassle or swear words.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great trip! suitable for sports

I would give these tires 5 stars but they were very difficult to mount on my rims. Maybe it's me because I've never tried tubeless tires before. That being said, I'm very impressed with the traction and stability these tires offer, both on singletrack that go over rocks and roots with climbs and descents, and on long, flat trails. I feel safer on these mezcals than any other tire I've used.

Pros
  • ideal for outdoor activities
Cons

universal tire! Best in Sport

I have ridden this 29 inch tire on and off road and it has performed well both times. Surprisingly smooth on tarmac (50psi) despite moderately aggressive profile. On the tight, rooted, sandy singletrack, it was flawless despite keeping the pressure at 50 psi. The winding trail is covered in pine thatch in places where my old tires tended to skid. Just not these. I am very happy with this tire as it is suitable for road/trail racing at a solid price.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
