I bought these for my 6 year old and the black one looks like it has sequins and silver in the laces. So they are more girls than boys. He loves her even though he plays hard at school. They hold up well and allow him to put them on and take them off without untying them

The laces are long enough to tie properly. And stay tied. Tires have good grip.

Luckily I have a child who loves sequins and sequins and doesn't care about gender roles 👌 The shoes look good and the sole is thick and durable. I only deducted a few stars because of bad advertising photos. We're fine with the glitters, but if not, we'd have to return them. Just remember that that particular color sparkles ✨
