While cleaning up, I donated my old metal tea infuser and diffusers. I love Scandinavian design so I was thrilled to see that this is a new way of making tea. The design is elegant and attractive. So simple and yet so pleasant. He does exactly what he's supposed to do and does it while still looking good.

Works very well, easy to take out of the cup and clean. The holes are so small that none of the pieces of tea can get through. The only thing I noticed is that the holes are so small that, depending on the type of leaves I use, water has a hard time getting in to be fully absorbed by the tea. I'll keep experimenting with different teas to see how much it affects the process.

It has thinner brewing holes than I expected and I was able to get 6 teaspoons of tea which was more than I thought it would be. The particular tea I used recommended 1.5 teaspoons per 8 ounces. So I had to be able to brew enough for 4 cups. I don't think I had that much water. However, it worked well and the tea was good. Infuser without chains, hooks or springs. I like it.

Finally! A tea ball good enough not to miss the leaves! I love that this tea ball holds a substantial amount of tea so you can use it for a large mug. You have to soak it in water for a few seconds to submerge the filter, otherwise I've found it tends to tip over in a larger mug.
