easy to use: medical items and equipment

they are too wide for me so it was easy to cut them. The velcro ends loosen after a few weeks. I've tried many brands and they last the longest.

Pros
  • nice packaging
Cons
  • unreliable

Heavy duty velcro closure

Decent concept but I find a mate binding my broken toe for custom comfort works best for me. I think this product can work well for some people, especially in the later stages of healing.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive

Need help with Curly Toe Syndrome?

I use this to support a tendon under my toe that is constantly overstretched causing inflammation. Not comfortable enough for everyday all day use but great for prevention. Great for inflammation.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Don't bother to buy, they fall away immediately

Too big for any finger. I bought this for broken toes and it falls off immediately. The velcro is so tight that it rubs against the skin on the closest toe, and you can't adjust the closure for a tighter fit.

Pros
  • Medical items and equipment
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Wrong product for me.

I bought these to support a broken child's toe. It did not work. It was too big and kept falling off my foot. They were also uncomfortable due to the angle at which they had to be worn. I couldn't use them and ended up using a bandage and tape. Otherwise the product is well made and comfortable. If you have big toes they may work, but I wouldn't recommend it for small toes.

Pros
  • Leg and Foot Rests
Cons
  • Quality

Better than other medical supplies and devices

I don't know if there is any solution to this problem other than surgery, but they are better than other similar products I've tried. They are easy to put on, not bulky and reasonably priced. My problem is mallet finger and because the finger is bent, the skin over the nail was stepped on and a painful callus formed. I am trying to straighten my toe but I think it will take a long time if this method can actually do it.

Pros
  • Health and Household
Cons
  • Zero

Mandatory for broken toes

I broke my toe next to my big toe. After doing a good job in the ER, I knew that putting him with a partner was for the best. There's no point in paying $300 to visit only to find out there's nothing that can be done. Initially I changed it myself, no problem until my son stepped on my toe and I had to pull it from under his foot. I felt the snap again, and this time it hurt to bandage my finger. I knew I had at least a week or two (maybe more after my son stepped on him) that he needed that…

Pros
  • Splints, splints and supports
Cons
  • Safety
