The foam handles on my old lawn mower have decayed. It worked great. A few things worth mentioning. They come folded in half so there is a crease in the middle of each section. For my application it doesn't matter as I am cutting a section in half. Then use these two 1/2 lengths on the right/left side of the pusher. For $8.99 you get a lot of grip material. Enough for use on a bullhorn or handlebars. It can be used as an additional pad under the handlebar tape. I use it for custom grips on mountain bikes.
