Love this dehydrator

I had a very old dehydrator that I borrowed so I decided to buy a new one. My old one was round. I like the square shape as it fits the counter better and is relatively quiet. I also like that I can add 3 more trays if I want.

It didn't work out - Dehydrators

I really wanted to make jerky. I received this vivohome dehydrator in the mail, unpacked and washed it, then turned it on and nothing. No heat, no fan. Very disappointing. I'm sending it back, don't buy it, I'm not the only one with this problem.

Kids eat fruit chips instead of potato chips.

This dehydrator is great. Very stylish with a modern look. Comes with five trays and cooking instructions for optimal performance. I did bananas and apples on my first run. The children loved her and are healthy for her too. Better than those greasy potato chips!

Arrived broken: dehydrators

I'm mad. I bought it and the day after it arrived I followed all the instructions. I cut down $30 worth of organic food to dry. I found out that the fan and heater were defective. I spent hours preparing everything. I decided to just freeze it and make a smoothie out of it until I realized it all tasted like cheap plastic from China. I threw it away for fear of cancer. i will return it

Compact and easy to use!

I love this dehydrator! My parrots are very picky, so I'm trying to find new ways to get them to eat healthy food. This machine is compact, easy to use and clean. I cooked vegetables, apples and peaches. So far they've loved everything I've done! The apples I cooked were eaten like fries! Very happy with the product, packed in bubble wrap, no scratches. Not thrilled, sorry I didn't choose another.

I wish I had made a better choice. This car looks very nice in pictures but not so good in person. Lots and lots of design flaws. "Stainless steel" is really thin, almost foil. The trays have many raised and protruding parts that cannot be seen in the photos, making tray mat cutting almost impossible. It dries fairly well and holds a decent volume, but it can't handle very wet food, as the hole in the center makes it difficult to line it with plastic without leaking. Which would be nice except…

If acceptable we would give negative stars. We are gardeners and bought this food dehydrator to replace our old one. In a nutshell; Worked for 3-4 months, then stopped warming up. I contacted Vivo Customer Support via email about an issue. They responded with their warranty claims, purchase/invoice number and a video explaining the problem.
