Not an air fryer, but a toaster.

Nice toaster but NOT a convection oven as advertised. Convection ovens have a fan to circulate hot air. Not this device.

Crap in 3 months

When I first bought it (December 2019) it burned almost everything. So when we cooked something we lowered the temperature and everything was fine. We bought an oven thermometer to check the temperature. I set the temperature to 400 and the thermometer read about 500 degrees! Only up to 450! Only recently did we realize that things are not prepared either. The bagel pieces that used to look almost black were still white, and the cheese wasn't melted. Even at the highest temperature they wereโ€ฆ

Bigger than most and very easy to clean

It's smooth, cooks well and distributes heat evenly. I bought this because my last toaster died. I like that it has an off function. You can add items specifically for the top, bottom, or both. The crumb tray at the bottom is very easy to clean. With most other toasters, the shell discolours after a short time and looks rough. This one is still as shiny and new as the day I got it. It's a toaster, not convection, but it doesn't claim to be convection either. So if you buy it and think so, thenโ€ฆ

Everything burns - very poor thermoregulation

I was skeptical of the reviews saying that this device burns everything. I assumed user error was involved, but I was wrong. Food really burns. He turned the bottoms of 4 French bread pizzas completely black while I experimented to find the right settings and placement on the rack. He even burned the bottom of the pizza, which remained icy in the middle. I think the problem is that the heating elements never turn off. I've seen elements in other toasters that cycle on and off to regulate theโ€ฆ

Bad connections but works if you work on it

This toaster worked great for several weeks after purchase. But then he started not toasting properly. The toast gets hot, but the heating elements don't get red enough to toast the toast. I decided to unscrew the block a week ago to see what was going on before throwing it away. I found the wire connections to the switches and heaters to be very loose. I can take some of them off without holding them. One was completely black from what appeared to be an arc. Solution: I removed all theโ€ฆ

Great company to deal with

I'll double check my rating of the company and give them 5 stars because they really took responsibility and sent a new toaster to replace the faulty one. . I would buy from this company again just because they stand behind their product! It worked fine for the first 3 weeks, not perfect, but I figured I'd have to get used to it. But it keeps losing heat, if we set it to 450 it doesn't even get to 325. That's why it takes so long to cook something. The roast is slightly better, but not too hot.

Works well but not for toast.

Used 3 months, works well. Love the interior lighting which makes it easy to keep an eye on the food and very easy to tell if the oven is on. Before using it, they took it outside to burn off the remaining oil (mandatory) and took the opportunity to check the temperature with an oven thermometer on the grate in the middle position. After 30 minutes at a maximum temperature of 450F with the top and bottom elements on, the temperature reached 515F. Reduced it to 250F and it actually showed 250Fโ€ฆ
