This is actually a good eye loupe, but after a few uses it stopped turning the light on automatically when the loupes were extended. Today, after only using it for a few weeks, it fell from about knee height onto the soft ground and it broke into four pieces (not counting the batteries). It took me a heck of a lot of time to put it back together and the light stops working no matter how I place the batteries. I guess one of those things you get what you pay for

Cute Little Thing 😜 Works very well with switchable lighting setting for each magnification. I mean, it's almost easier to use than your standard pocket magnifier with zoom and focus buttons, and it surprised me. Well done Vivosan, keep it up! This is a better representation of what you get for $9 than the flashy alligator skin look they have in their picture. It feels very cheap and looks like a plastic toy from a dollar store. The lenses are plastic, it is very difficult to focus on the stone. On the plus side it had a tiny UV black light which I wasn't expecting and yet it came with a battery and cleaning cloth.
