Excellent value for money! I will buy it again if this one breaks. I suspect the reason the extra batteries came with 3 different calibration buffers is because they need to be recalibrated every time the battery is changed

Right out of the box I was skeptical about the accuracy and arguing about the calibration but abandoned it as it is brand new. He gave me a reading that was constant for about a week, then he went to Possum and showed me a reading that starts at about 2.0pH to 0 and 16.00 when you turn it on. Switch off for a while to come back and get regular readings again. 🤷

If you use calibration solution, overall this is a good pen for its function. I am not sure if they are all like this or just mine. But "mine" didn't like the general hydroponic calibration solution. 4.01 or 7.0 will be a little less and sometimes more. The solution that came with it worked great.

The product came with a broken sachet of PH buffer powder, not sealed or sealed all over and it was high PH buffer PH 9.18 Very acidic Like you in the photos packaging was not properly sealed by the manufacturer. This pH is very acidic and dangerous if you want your family to be around dangerous things that are leaking.

I have bought several Revain Choice PH meters over the last few years, I usually expect them to last a few months and then when they fail and fail and want no more PH , it doesn't matter, I always get my $11. Anyway, this one is only a few bucks more than most so I decided to give it a try and it seems to be holding up really well. It may have a small advantage over other cheap PH meters on the market. I am sure that I will get my money's worth with it.

Following the instructions that came with it I was unable to calibrate this meter at all. Just get the same 4pm no matter what. Holding down the calibrate button does nothing other than flash the screen, not calibrate as the instructions say. I only have 2 weeks and had to recalibrate 3-4 times. The calibration will not survive. I was excited to get this because I had an old blue model (can't remember the brand).
