Great sound system at a great price!

The bass performance on this system is pretty damn good. To the point that it's overkill at a high level, but the sound quality it delivers is amazing. It's definitely worth it! Best budget but amazing sound. If you can get it at a discount, you will be more than satisfied.

Great sound, poor implementation

Like sound, design and price after installation. However, as many reviewers on YouTube and other sites point out, the firmware and quality control are terrible. The optical input works fine but I can't use the eArc connector at all. It controls the volume, but 90% of the time there is no sound. Vizio Support thinks it's a bad HDMI port, which means 2 out of 3 Vizio devices in my house have been flagged as bad HDMI ports by Vizio Support. It's just poor quality control. Great sound for the…

EQ settings don't just go up or down a notch, Hayden.

Hayden McDonald must be a bit confused with the EQ settings. selected equalizer setting. You can go all the way up or all the way down, which can be useful if you need to turn off the subwoofer while living in an apartment. I had no issues with audio not streaming or being slow. I don't use the Bluetooth feature as my phone is connected to my TV anyway and I can just stream over it so I can't comment on that. At $400, that's a huge step up from your TV's stereo sound. The bass is strong and the

Great surround sound system if your TV supports eARC and Dolby.

The surround speakers on my entry level LG system were dying so I went to BestBuy and they had one of those open boxes for 2/3 the price of a new one. I did a little research and found that if you have a newer TV with eARC capabilities, this pack has great reviews. We bought the Vizio OLED last November and loved it, so thought it would be a modest upgrade for the price. How wrong I was That's STEAL even at retail. Setting up was pretty easy. For those complaining about the UI, yes it's a…

This soundbar is the new gateway to Dolby Atmos

After a long search for a product, I was very excited about this soundbar. I almost rushed a few others, but I'm glad I waited for this one. If you're looking for an entry-level soundbar for your family room and don't know what Dolby Atmos is, then I'll be honest: this isn't the home theater setup for you. There are plenty of other systems that work hundreds of dollars less well, including the Vizio V line of speakers, which you can also get in 5.1. If you've heard of Atmos or are looking for…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
