The shaft for this product is not long enough, I've just started installing it and now I can't return it because I missed the return window. There is no way to contact the seller for an exchange. Pure garbage.

I connected everything according to the instructions. doesn't dim, just turns on, and when it turns off, it dims a degree and then turns off. All this looks very cheap and fragile. I ended up just throwing it away and going the other way. Don't hesitate to buy this

This set arrived quickly and in good working order. Wiring directions are clear. They offer two wiring options. I found the connection they recommended worked great, while the simplified connection resulted in some flickering in my test circuit (which used a noisy 12V transformer). Use the recommended wiring!

The LED lights for my RV's dining area were too bright except when I was reading or doing puzzles. Otherwise I pulled the bulb out of 1 of the 2 lights. I bought this switch and followed the two wire instructions and it works great. Now I can dim the lights to watch TV and brighten them to solve puzzles. Winner! Works very well with my LED bulbs, going from full to full and with plenty of range in between. Perfect for my RV application.

I liked the look of it. For such a simple component, 30 seemed expensive, but I wanted aesthetics. bought two of them. I decided to test this before permanently plugging it into my camper build but it doesn't work. I tried connecting them two different ways as recommended, in one line but with ground. neither method works. It's absurd that I got a useless cheap $30 product. don't risk buying this, just get a cheaper dimmer that's more likely to work.

Overall this dimmer was great. Has always worked perfectly. For the installation, I used a forstner bit to drill a hole in a piece of plywood the correct depth needed to thread the lock nut. So not the easiest install if you don't have the tools. The dimmer worked great until it pulled the covers off my bed and started generating static electricity. The small form factor is good and the barrel and metal grip look high quality. After you install it, it works perfectly. Two installation problems. First, the wires are incredibly good, I think 24 gauge (my 22 gauge stripper couldn't strip it). This made stripping more difficult, but also made it difficult to get a good crimp.
