Description of Voltive 12/2 Speaker Wire: Enhanced Audio Performance with UL Listed In-Wall and Outdoor/In Ground Rating - 100 Foot Spool, White

Product Characteristics

The Voltive 12/2 Speaker Wire is a top-of-the-line audio accessory designed to deliver exceptional sound performance for your home audio setup. This premium speaker cable boasts a 12AWG (12 gauge) thickness with 2 conductors, providing optimal conductivity and minimizing signal loss. The cable comes in a 100-foot spool, ensuring you have enough length to connect your speakers with ease.

One of the standout features of this speaker wire is its construction with 65 strand Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductors. Unlike cheaper alternatives that use copper-clad aluminum (CCA), the OFC conductors in the Voltive wire offer superior durability and efficiency, resulting in cleaner audio signals without interference.

The cable is UL listed as both CL2/CL3, making it safe for in-wall installation, and outdoor/in-ground, allowing you to set up your audio system in various environments. Its white jacket not only enhances its aesthetics but also provides added protection for long-lasting performance.

Similar Products and Skins

If you're in the market for high-quality speaker wire, you might come across similar products, but the Voltive 12/2 stands out from the competition. While some cables may claim to offer similar specifications, they often fall short in terms of construction quality and materials used.

As for "skins," a popular term for cable sheaths, the Voltive 12/2 features a super-luxe outer jacket that not only adds a touch of elegance but also provides extra protection. Unlike basic speaker wires, this premium jacket ensures your cable remains resistant to wear and tear, extending its lifespan and preserving its pristine appearance.

Problems Solved

With the Voltive 12/2 Speaker Wire, you can bid farewell to common audio issues. Signal loss, a common problem with inferior cables, is significantly reduced thanks to the 65 strand OFC conductors, ensuring you get the best possible sound quality from your speakers.

Moreover, the cable's CL2/CL3 and direct burial ratings address installation concerns. Whether you want to run the wire through walls or set up your outdoor speakers in the ground, this cable is engineered to meet stringent safety standards, making your audio setup hassle-free and secure.

Important Parameters

When evaluating speaker wires, certain parameters are crucial for ensuring optimal performance. The Voltive 12/2 excels in key areas that directly impact audio quality. The 12AWG gauge ensures low resistance, allowing the audio signal to flow smoothly and consistently.

Additionally, the oxygen-free copper conductors play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional sound. They not only minimize signal degradation but also enhance the overall longevity of the cable, making it a worthwhile investment for audiophiles and home audio enthusiasts.

Use for Self Development

The Voltive 12/2 Speaker Wire is more than just an accessory for your audio system. It represents a commitment to achieving the best possible listening experience. Crystal Clear Sound in Your Home

As my tests showed, this speaker wire conductor is top-notch when it comes to home audio accessories. The sound quality is crystal clear without any static or interference. It's also easy to install and durable. The only downside is that it's slightly pricier than other options on the market. Overall, if you want to enhance your home audio experience, this is definitely the way to go!

UL listed and ideal for wall use!

As many others have learned the hard way (after the return period has expired), the Revain Basics In-Wall Speaker Cable is not actually designed for in-wall use in the US. Insurance companies can deny fire damage claims if they know you used non-UL listed wires inside the walls. This wire is nice and thick, has flexible insulation, and looks neat installed in my walls and ceiling. I'm finishing up my basement and bought 500 feet of pre-wiring for a 7.2.4 system (which I'll probably never have)…

Great for my purpose (not used as speaker wire)

My house has white eaves and trim and my lover wanted lighting in said under loft spaces. The low voltage landscape lighting for sale appears to be black throughout, which contrasts like, well, black on white. After several days of unsuccessful searching for 12 AWG white landscape cable, I stumbled across this one and decided to go for it. It's rated for direct penetration, which led me to believe it would work well outside in shady, rain-protected eaves. I've installed entire home stereo…
