This is a gasket, fits well and only takes 30 seconds to replace. In the photo, the old gasket has not yet flowed, but several cracks are visible.

NOT VOLVO BODY, but fits, so here. VERY low durometer, damn spongy, good enough for now, I just need to get a viton ring and not bother with it anymore, I don't think it will last very long.

Good quality. I didn't think the old gasket was bad until I compared it to this new one. the difference was obvious. Although the old one was still flexible, it was stiff and didn't squeeze or close the lid properly. This fixed an oil leak at the top of the engine.

When opening the hood, an oil leak was found above the engine. Quickly narrowed down to a gap. Upon inspection, the gasket is hardened and not properly sealed. It was a quick swap, remove old gasket, clean lid and put in new gasket. I could immediately tell the difference when I put the cap back on as there was now some resistance.

I bought this for my friend. The mechanic was repairing his car when it broke down. The mechanic said there was oil around the number four spark plug which shorted out the solenoid. He told him he needed a new washer if he could get it or a new oil cap. It's not a Volvo mechanic, but I use it all the time. My friend had to fill almost every other tank of gas in his car.
