dead on arrival: car backup cameras

just spent 4 hours installing this on a large panel van, everything is hooked up and nothing is dead. quite annoying to say the least. tried to contact the seller and the boy - today is Saturday so no reply. Damn.

NOT 170 degrees, just 135 degrees at best

This camera is NOT 170 degrees wide as advertised, it has a MUCH narrower field of view. Packaging materials claim 135 degrees but I would even doubt it. Also, it has a special connector that connects it to a 60-foot cable. So if you want to use it with a wireless system transmitter like I did, you're out of luck. or at least you have to figure out what to do with 60 feet of extra cable you can't get rid of. While the camera looks and feels like a great quality product, the image quality leaves
