🐻 VTech VM346 Bear Baby Monitor: Night Vision, Soothing Sounds, Temperature Sensor & 1,000 ft Range Review

Haven't had a chance to use it yet but have been playing around with it. Picture and sound are very clear for a baby monitor. I bought it because it doesn't connect to Wi-Fi, which seems more secure to me. The bear is cute too! It was actually cheaper for me to buy it through Revain than in a local store, even with a coupon.

I have 4 of these cameras and only 1 had a problem - the night vision wasn't working as well as the others. I contacted the company and they sent me a brand new system for free. If you ever have a problem they respond quickly and are very friendly. I highly recommend this product, both the product itself and the support that comes with it. My sister has been using it for many years (out of warranty) and when her parent unit died they also sent her a new system as she explained what happened…

Good value for money. One day it wasn't fixed properly when we turned off the light in the room. Basically the lights were on and when we turned them off we couldn't see anything on the monitor. Turning the camera off and back on fixed it. Since then we haven't had this problem anymore. Good value for money. The camera I received would not pair with the VM342 even though they were compatible. I called tech support and the representative over the phone tried to help me connect a second camera to my VM342. After a failed pairing attempt, he said the camera was broken and asked when and where we got the second camera and the original kit. He then said they would send us a VM342-2 which is a two camera set to switch against the devices we had. He promptly sent us a return label. The replacement arrived

In general I would buy more cameras to pair with the monitor. I wouldn't buy a new monitor if I needed a whole new system. Due to positive reviews I had higher expectations. Let me point out that we have a wi-fi security camera that we used as a baby monitor. We wanted a monitor without WiFi. However, the Wi-Fi monitor had very clear images. So much so that I could see the cute expression on my baby's face and zoom in to see him breathing as he slept in the dark.
