VViViD Air Release Adhesive Vinyl Sheet Review

So after 3 months of use and a DAILY auto wash they still work and look great! Proper preparation is key, but if you get it right you won't be disappointed!

Definitely has a metallic sheen, maybe more than I wanted. But only for the face wheel, which doesn't really take the shape of the corners, which is what I wanted. Probably not so much their fault as that I had high hopes. Although it scratches easily.

I install vinyl all the time and also do wall and car wrapping but normally use 3m products. This is my first time using it and I was impressed. The adhesive was good and the vinyl lay very well. It has its limits. So if it's not working for you, you've gone too far or didn't clean up well enough to begin with.

Vinyl is durable and reacts fairly quickly to a heat gun. However, wheels with depth may not be suitable for this winding. Vinyl just stretches and I recommend it on flat surface wheels. I tried this vinyl on my 2010 C63 AMG 18 (see attached picture) but the vinyl didn't stretch enough. I could have tried cutting out the vinyl but opted to powder coat them rather than being cheap.

Good product. Needless to say, I'm still learning how to use this material, but this is how it looks after 4 practice attempts. The product works well when used properly. The heat gun made the job easier. Under the action of heat, many wrinkles and air bubbles came out. Great for flat surfaces but not so good for contours. I had a plan B in case plan A didn't work, it's in the photo.

I was so excited when I received my chrome kit. I bought a set of really good chrome rims, guaranteed, and they turned out fantastic with a carp finish. So I was hooked because living vinyl always looks so cool. But when I received my package from you, it had 2 leaves, not 4.
