Dishwasher was purchased less than three years ago. The wheels started falling off the bottom shelf of KitchenAid when it was less than a year old. These wheels arrived quickly and were easy to fit. Unfortunately they don't spin properly. The weight of the dishwasher basket causes the center screw to be against the bottom of the wheel, creating resistance and preventing the wheel from turning. I bought these for a Maytag mdb8969sdm0 that had two wheelsets constantly falling off. In particular, it was the cheap plastic cog holding the wheel in place that kept falling out. My Maytag dishwasher broke a wheel and the others are the same age and have been through the same tough life. But a genuine Whirlpool/Maytag part is about $32, like most appliance parts suppliers, so I was looking for about $128 + tax for a set of four. So I started looking and found her. "Cheap" unfortunately seems to be taken for granted with such factory-fitted wheels. Don't get me started on our expensive, high-end refrigerator with the ice dispenser on the checkout door already replaced, which was obviously designed by a high school intern, but I digress.
