the price was ok, the quality is junk, the original lasted more than 7 years, the last one maybe 1 year, this one is new, it is bad, out of date the box the pulley is very loose on the spindle but i need a dryer so i installed it and it's almost as bad as the previous one it's pure rubbish they shouldn't have much quality control so i lost 10 bucks .

Replacing the part itself is very easy. The hardest part is removing the top, front, bath and other parts to get to where this part is. If you have good DIY skills it's not too bad, just take the time to work, watch a few videos and you'll save a ton of money.

If you look at my picture you can see a very worn wheel and a brand new wheel. The worn wheel is only 3 months old. During that time it ripped off the metal interior and started making an even worse noise than the original pulley as it broke. 3 years, maybe I could go under, but 3 months is useless. I ended up ordering a more expensive, higher quality OEM version.

I finally have the right dryer part from Samsung. I tried to upload two pictures but it wouldn't let me. Our old idler pulley started to squeak terribly. Instead of just spraying with WD-40, we decided to replace the mechanism. After a few missteps (walking through the back instead of the front) we were able to swap it out with relative ease. That said, the new pulley is louder than what we had before, but at least the noise coming from it doesn't pierce your ears with nails to a blackboard.

My wife wanted to buy a $1,000 dryer because ours had turned into a screaming villain. I know that buying a new dryer is stressful, but I like to spoil the fun on such occasions. $11 is a better investment than $1,000 when it comes to dryers.
