An integral part of a quality lighting system. The low, thin, flat design is not visible even under the tall shelves I installed them on. Because of such a low voltage, it emits a lot of light. Smoothly responds to LED dimmers for low light applications. This special lamp provides a warm, soft light. Very happy with how everything turned out.

It is not clear from the description that this can only be used as a long light strip. If you want/need shorter lengths you will need to assemble them from 12" and 1" pieces. The description says it can be cut every 2 inches, but that's only at the end of a run. Once you cut it, the cut piece won't work anymore. Luckily I called the manufacturer before installing it.

I can report that the band meets all expectations. It's strong, amazingly light, and the double-sided tape sticks well to my painted wood cabinet. . The connectors work well and the ability to cut the tape in 2" intervals allowed me to fit 4 different runs perfectly. They've been hanging for several weeks now and aren't sagging, so I'm happy.

Expensive can be found cheaper here at Revain and elsewhere, but they make excellent under cabinet lighting that dims out very well. I find the quality higher than the cheap ones. I think time will tell if they're worth the extra cost. Just make sure you choose the right color temperature. If you want a more modern look with, say, a white kitchen, you'll want a cooler color temperature, as warm white makes things look yellow.

I replaced a damaged strap. I called WAC and spoke to them first to determine exactly what strip I needed as the strip showed the numbers I wanted to use to identify the correct replacement match. This is fantastic lighting! I'm a licensed electrician and have installed hundreds of under cabinet light fixtures either by me or customer supplied. I bought these for a woman whose closets were prewired for this style of lighting and the results have been great! she loved it. I don't like these lights at all. First, they're very expensive, but I bit the bullet for installing them in our newly renovated guest bedroom closet. I don't think the color temperature is as advertised and they aren't that bright. Also, I had to buy a transformer, which cost me even more money. In my opinion, that's nowhere near the money. I enjoy working with this product as it is suitable for under cabinet lighting and is the easiest to install. My complaint is that they didn't send me the L connector I ordered.
