grumpy grumpy c Computer cable adapter

I really wish Wacom would come up with a better design for chargers. I feel like they need to break down in order for them to charge you this insane replacement price. But otherwise it works as it should. As long as you don't tap it carefully and don't have to buy another one.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Works best in computer accessories and peripherals

Had to order a new charger as my original charger which was a few years old was pretty broken. Got a replacement when they finally went back for sale but mine died ONLY this week. Only this one has been in the same place on my desk for about 3 months :/ the cord has never bent and my pets can't access my office

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Crumpled

Buy power cable! Otherwise it's great.

Be sure to buy a power cord for it. Bought this for my Surface Book 2 15" as a travel adapter along with a power dock. Works just as well as the one that came with it. Keeps your laptop charged even during intense workloads playing 3D games. I don't know why I got Surface. This one Dock + USB-C Power Delivery Dock works great and allows you to have a very portable dock with a cable.Pretty expensive when you add a cable and hub but still cheaper than a surface dock.

Works well with high power USB-C devices

You need to buy your own power cord and there is no way to extend the USB output cable. Overall though, the charger works great and seems to have the right power match for the voltages I've been using it at. I am currently using it as a charger for my Surface Book 2 15" and it charges it at full speed. I have verified the performance with a power tester and am getting just over 100w output power for a laptop. The charger is good. Priced within Compared to other power adapters on the market…

Long term investment

I have bought countless of these units from Wacom and two from Revain so far in the five years that I have owned my mobilestudio pro and may buy another one soon. Let me be clear, this charger works great initially and always works. Maybe a year or more if you are lucky it will work. And then? It suddenly fails. Problems appear suddenly and seem to come out of nowhere, and the replacement is CHEAP for a device that's also CHEAP. I've had the laptop for as long as my mobilestudio pro, which cost

  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Terrible product and customer support, do not buy.

This quality is TERRIBLE these days. Yes, it is made in China. But WACOM is a Japanese company. I found them better than QC. Currently, Chinese companies produce products of much better quality than Japanese ones. Stopped working after 2 years of very little use. The cable cover is broken but works perfectly. Now it has completely stopped working. DIED. Contacted WACOM support. Support said the warranty for accessories is 1 year. Also, they do not replace for a fee or repair. And showed me…

Expensive but effective

This really is one of the few 100W USB-C charging options available. I ordered it as an experiment to see if it charges my Surface Book 2 at full speed. Everything seems to be working great so far. Before purchasing, I contacted Wacom to ask some preliminary questions such as: B.: * What kind of power adapter does the charger need? * Does the charger support USB Power Delivery 2.0? They didn't help because they couldn't answer a single question. After purchase I know that the charger uses an…
