Fast and Simple to use.

I plugged it into the 12 volt outlet on my wife's Toyota Prius. I started the engine. I pulled up a stool and within 30 impacts all lug nuts were loose. it was also able to tighten then up snugly, but I double checked them manually. It did not torque them to specs but this is not the purpose of this tool. it was also able to wind up the scissor jack about 2/3 of the way. I had to manually finish lifting the tire with the scissor jack, but it did eliminate some of the work. It unwound the…

Pros
  • Ok
Cons
  • Not worthy

Works great as intended. Must have for all DIYers.

Works great taking off wheels on BMW. No need to loosen lug nuts before jacking up car. This wrench will take them off fast with little effort. You'll think you are working on a NASCAR pit crew.we'll maybe not that fast. I wish they had an option to use standard 110 volt while using at home instead of just the car hookup but the car connection would be the most useful. I plan on keeping this in my trunk just in case it's ever needed away from home.

Pros
  • Strong, durable, and great price
Cons
  • Was disappointed that it didn't work as described. It was a big let down.

Easer of use: my feedback

After reading reviews I wasn't sure if this would work. I tried it as soon as it arrived and it does. You have to put it on the lug nut and let it spin up. When it reaches appropriate speed it then engages the impact and repeats this until lug nut spins off. It tightens up in the opposite manner.I believe that for infrequent use by someone who is not able to use a standard lug wrench this is a good purchase.

Pros
  • Product arrived on time and met my expectations.
Cons
  • Cheaply made, could be dangerous for an inexperienced user

I'm not sure hiw I feel yet

I'm not sure how I feel about this thing yet. It's a little heavy and im not yet impressed wit the performance. I do roadside assistance and I use it for the first time today and the socket kept getting stuck on the lug nuts so I ended up doing the job with my old 4 way tire iron just to get it over with. But I'll give it another try but if it continues to be a hassle more than help its going in the basement forever

Pros
  • great prise
Cons
  • Poorly designed sockets don't grip nuts tightly

Works pretty good not as fast as I hoped it would be and if it's not held level it doesn't seem to wanna work. The plug that plugs into the cigarette lighter in the vehicle fell apart poorly put together but when you can get it to work it does ok for what it is.

Pros
  • Good for tire lug bolts !
Cons
  • Not durable enough to withstand regular use

Purchase was a positive experience for me!

Item arrived today in excellent and new condition. Seller was responsive to a couple of questions I had. A positive experience. One of the included sockets fits the lug nuts on my truck, so I am set to use this if I need to!

Pros
  • Magnetic base for easy attachment to metal surfaces
Cons
  • Can strip nuts and bolts easily

Convenience for a great price

Great for what it is. Not quite as fast as a regular impact gun. But still super convenient. Used it to take off and put on my tires when I did my brakes and it was able to get all but 1 lugnut off. Would much rather use this than have to used a tire iron. Seems kind of cheap but it's not meant for heavy use so it should last quite a while in the trunk for emergency purposes.

Pros
  • ‎12 Volts
Cons
  • Doesn't work in all weather conditions

Great product best in my review

I bought this because I was, unable to remove the lug nuts when I had a flat. This makes changing a tire easy. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • ‎Fixed Square
Cons
  • Requires a certain level of skill to operate correctly

Worked as advertised.

I only tried it once as a test, so I can't comment on the long-term durability or maximum torque. But it worked as advertised out of the box, and easily and quickly took off lug nuts tightened to 76 ftl-bs with two impacts. Putting the nuts back on, two impacts tightened them to exactly 76 ft-lbs as well.Overall it seems well-enough made, though not heavy/commercial grade. But it definitely seems sturdy enough for occasional or emergency use. Which what got me looking in the first place. After…

Pros
  • Works with 12V DC power, which is easily accessible in most cars
Cons
  • High price compared to similar models on the market

Good stuff best in my review

Really strong for m12 harmonic balancer bolt but somehow couple of fuses burned in my lighter input ( same story in couple of vehicles)No any problem opening rusted car bolts and nuts but 12v lighter plug need to be replaced to battery crocodiles

Pros
  • Durable construction for long-term use
Cons
  • Sockets are difficult to fit onto the wrench because of alignment problems

A Must-have Tool for the Car

One of the toughest things to do when changing a tire on the roadside is cracking those lug nuts loose. Having this impact wrench in the car is a godsend. I had know idea such a tool existed outside an autoshop. For a weakling like me, it’s a lifesaver. Every woman should have one. Every man as well, unless one enjoys straining to loosen lug nuts. A huge timesaver. Buy one!

Pros
  • 1/2 inch Drive and 9. 5 ft. power cord length
Cons
  • Poor quality control during manufacturing

Safe time and work well to remove and install well

Ok so I'll could give a 5 star but I only used it once and it worked amazingly well. I swap tires on my truck on 1/3 of the time I usually take by hand. like it, the mechanism is different from a regular air impact gun, so dont spect to behave like it.

Pros
  • The product is very easy to use and very handy to have when it comes to taking a tire off.
Cons
  • Incompatible with most power inverters

Wagan is the BEST: my feedback

this product is very good. not only that it removes lugs it also great for car repair. i replaced my 02 sensor. i tried for over an hour to get it loose and failed. the sensor had never been changed in 24 years. i got out the Wagan and, within 3 minutes it was out. i wish i'd had used it from the start. that went so well i used it for the rest of my car repair. if something happens to this one i will buy another.

Pros
  • Perfect for use in remote locations where professional help may not be readily available
Cons
  • Batteries can become damaged if not properly cared for

Read this for info not included in instructions

I tried this out before emergency tire change. You will need the extension cord to reach rear wheels of large pickup. Also, when you loosen and tighten the lug nuts, the wrench will make a clicking noise which they do not tell you in the instructions. This may cause you to think that it is not working, but it is. I tried it out with a friend who is much more mechanical. When loosening tires, let up a little when it clicks, restart, and nuts will loosen. When tightening, there is no torque…

Pros
  • One handed forward / reverse
Cons
  • Small battery drain indicator makes it difficult to know when charging is necessary

Wagan 12V impact wrench

The device works, but not as effective as I would like. This 12V impact wrench best operated with car running to supply 14V to make this product work better. At one impact per second or so, it takes a few seconds to wack wheel nut loose. Bottom line, it works, but for practical reasons, if it takes time to deal with the cable and its hookup, and throw in the one impact per second operation, it is just too much fuss with little reward. Better to have a breaker bar and appropriate lug nut size…

Pros
  • ‎Powder Coated
Cons
  • Not enough preset torque settings for accuracy

Don't push on the bolt or it won't work!

How to use this Impact wrench! I learned a lesson today, the impact wrench WILL NOT WORK work if you PUSH into the bolt you are trying to remove! Instead put the socket on the bolt securely, then squeeze the trigger. The unit will spin up then go clank!, To remove my tire lug, I had repeat this 6x but each time I saw the lug turning. NOTE: if you use this on a flat, clank it 3x per lug then jack your car up a bit so the tire is either on the ground lightly or above ground or use your tire lug…

Pros
  • A spare fuse, and two double sided sockets (17/19mm & 21/23mm) included
Cons
  • The case is too bulky to carry easily

Works the way it should - with a few peculiarities .

Works the way it should - just be aware of two peculiarities:Before applying the wrench to a lug nut, I have to "prime" the anvils / clutch by spinning the socket and waiting for the anvils to "clack" set themselves ( 1/2 a second). If I don't do that, the motor will simply run without engaging the axle of the wrench - socket doesn't spin, but motor runs. Simply do this in between each lug nut you install / remove. The wrench's axle also seems to disengage if you apply too much…

Pros
  • ‎11.02 x 10.12 x 3.54 inches
Cons
  • Lacks the power for modern, high-torque vehicles

Why send it at all: my feedback

Why send an item to someone that was obviously used and was broken. That is what was sent and returned. What a waste of time and shipping. Would not do this again, can count on that!

Pros
  • Comes with multiple sockets for versatile use on different size lug nuts
Cons
  • Lacks power for commercial utility applications
