Inaccurate and Unreliable Moisture Scanner

Tools and Home Improvement buyers beware! I recently purchased a moisture scanner from this category and was thoroughly disappointed with its performance. As my tests showed, the readings were inconsistent and seemed to vary with each use. While the device had a sleek and modern design it ultimately failed to deliver any reliable results .I would not recommend this product for anyone seeking accurate moisture measurements..

Simple, Efficient, User-Friendly

I recently bought this moisture meter after reading many reviews and comparisons between different gauges and options for measuring drying of hardwood for woodworking. Comes well packaged and supplied in its own hard plastic case containing wood density guide, instructions and instrument specific calibration plate. I've pitted it to my hard maple, walnut, oak, hickory, and cherry piles and some 2x4 home centers over the past few days and measured it quickly and accurately (based on what I knew…
